PDI-C109-F Overview

To protect these photodiodes from damage, the Bulk is used. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into TO-233AA, TO-8-3 Lens Top Metal Can packages. When photodiodes are continuously reverse-biased, the maximum voltage they can withstand is 100V. In reverse-bias mode, the voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 100V continuously. A photodiode is capable of conducting 5nA current even without light input.
