PDB-C152SM Overview

Photodiodes are protected from damage by the Tape & Reel (TR) package. To ensure safety, photodiodes are put into 1206 (3216 Metric) packages. A continuous reverse-bias mode can only sustain 50V voltage per photodiode. The voltage for the photodiodes should not exceed 50V in reverse-bias mode on a continual basis. When photodiodes are operating, the temperature should not exceed 80°C. There should, however, be a minimum operating temperature of -40°C for the photodiodes. For photodiodes to work, breakdown voltage should be 100V. Even in the absence of light input, a photodiode occurs 2nA current.
