The photodiodes are packaged in the Tape & Reel (TR) in order to prevent damage to them. For safety reasons, the photodiodes are packaged in 2-SMD, No Lead packages. As long as the photodiodes are operated continuously in reverse-bias mode, the maximum voltage they can tolerate is 35V.
