A 32-bit ColdFire microcontroller, the MCF52259CAG80. The NXP MQXTM RTOS software is included in full as part of the MCF5225x series of highly integrated devices with on-chip USB, Ethernet, CAN, and encryption features. An overview of the 32-bit MCF52259 microcontroller is given in this document, with special attention paid to its comprehensive and varied feature set. This 32-bit device features outstanding performance and low power consumption thanks to its Version 2 ColdFire core, which operates at a frequency of up to 80MHz. 64kB of static random access memory and up to 512kB of flash memory are available as on-chip storage that are strongly coupled to the processor core (SRAM).
