DRV101FKTWT Description


The DRV101 is a pulse-width modulated (PWM) output low-side power switch. For driving electromechanical devices including valves, solenoids, relays, actuators, and positioners, its robust construction is ideal. Additionally, the DRV101 is excellent for powering thermal equipment like heaters and lamps. PWM operation results in improved reliability because it uses less power and generates less heat. Additionally, PWM that is adjustable enables precise control of the power sent to the load. The time between the DC output and PWM output can be changed externally. For power savings, the DRV101 can be configured to offer a robust initial close before automatically transitioning to a "soft" hold mode. For adaptability, duty cycle can be managed by a resistor, analog voltage, or digital-to-analog converter.
