In order to protect these photodiodes from damage, they are packaged in the Bulk. In order to ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in Side View packages. Continuous reverse-bias means the photodiodes can withstand only 10V voltage. During reverse-bias operation, the photodiodes should never exceed 10V. There are 2 pins on the photodiodes.
