BPW34B Overview


As a protective measure, these photodiodes are packaged in the Bulk. To ensure safety, the photodiodes are packaged in DIP packages. A photodiode can withstand a maximum voltage of 32V if it is continuously reverse-biased. Continuous reverse-bias should not exceed 32V for the photodiodes. A photodiode is equipped with 2 pins. There is a possibility that the photodiodes could release 150mW heat within the circuit. During the operation of photodiodes, the temperature should not exceed 85°C. However, the minimum operating temperature for the photodiodes should be set at -40°C. Photodiodes should have a reverse anode voltage of 32V. Generally, the maximum amount of heat released by photodiodes is 150mW. It is possible for the photodiodes in the DC circuit to operate under reverse voltage of 32V. Photodiodes are supposed to operate at 1.3V voltage. When no light is input, a photodiode will conduct at 2nA current.
