The TPS61240IDRVRQ1 is a high efficiency synchronous boost converter with 1.1A switch current capability. This device is designed for single-cell alkaline, NiMH, or Li-Ion battery-powered applications. Operating with input voltage from 0.3V to 5.5V, it can be configured to deliver an output voltage from 1.8V to 5.5V, making it ideal for a wide range of portable and battery-powered systems. With a switching frequency of 1.2MHz, the TPS61240IDRVRQ1 offers a small solution size, a minimum of 2.5μH inductor, and a minimum of 4.7μF output capacitor. The device also features automatic transition between step-up and bypass modes to maximize efficiency at light loads. This device also includes input voltage regulation to limit the inrush current required from the source supply during start-up. The TPS61240IDRVRQ1 is available in a compact 50mil x 30mil VQFN-12 package, making it an excellent choice for space-constrained applications.
